Incensed at the UK Government’s arbitrary and unjust frozen pension policy which sees the pensions paid to Australian residents frozen, Jim established British Pensions in Australia Inc. Department of Work & Pensions confirms reciprocal agreement not needed In answer to a "Freedom of Information" request, the UK DWP has confirmed that a reciprocal social services agreement is not required to "unfreeze" UK Pensions. They also confirmed that there are no plans to change the existing 70 year old policy on Frozen Pensions. The DWP FOI response is here

APPG on Frozen Pensions holds its AGM The APPG on Frozen Pensions held its AGM on 19th May 2021. Sir Roger Gale MP was re-elected Chair of the APPG. Also elected as Vice Chairs were Lord German, Carol Monaghan MP, Lord Randall and Lord Foulks. Canadian MPs Paul Manly and Matt Jeneroux attended the AGM as did Kyle Nash , Head of Political Policy from the Australian High Commission.
