Brian Owles, Patrick Edwards and Desmond Woods of BPiA met Melissa Cheesman (Senior Adviser to Senator Birmingham (Minister for Trade Tourism and Investment)), Alex Taylor (Senior Adviser to Senator Ruston (Minister for Social Services), George Mina (First Assistant Secretary, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade) and Cathy Raper (First Assistant Secretary, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade) to press for the frozen pensions issue to be raised with the UK negotiating team as part of Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
